Prompt used: complimentary_colors, great composition, Looking out the window, manhattan_penthouse, rainy_moody_night, beautiful twinkling city view, Room filled with plants, complimentary_colors, by_artist_”anime”, warm light, Dan Mumford, film_grain, Victo Ngai, Concept Art, magazine_print_grain, Fantasy Art, Johan Grenier, Van Gogh

OpenAI’s DALL-E 3 is now available to use on NightCafe!

You asked, we listened. Still, this release didn’t come without questions, and we wanted to answer some of the most frequently asked here in this post!

Why is it so expensive?

DALL-E 3 is a powerhouse, and running it comes with a bigger price tag because it’s doing some heavy lifting. To give you an idea, it’s more than four times the cost of our previous model, SDXL. We want to be upfront – it’s an investment to for us to host DE3 at NightCafe.

Why is it for PRO users only? Will it stay a PRO feature forever?

Great question! DALL-E 3 is pricey to run, and to keep things sustainable for NightCafe, we’ve made it exclusive to PRO users. This way, the costs are covered. With this in mind, DALL-E 3 will likely remain a PRO feature on NightCafe for the foreseeable future.

Prompt used:  marilyn monroe as an anime character, great face-lighting, complimentary_colors, rule of thirds, portrait, warm sunlight shining down, beautiful composition, striking colors, by artist “anime”, Anime Key Visual, Japanese Manga, Pixiv, Zerochan, Anime art, Fantia

Why are the results different from that on other sites?

The results might vary because different sites use different versions of the DALL-E 3 API.

I can use DE3 for free on other sites. Why should I use it on NightCafe?

Great question! On NightCafe, you get a bit more control – you can tweak the aspect ratio, runtime, or style. Plus, if you create something cool elsewhere, you’re always welcome to upload it here and share your masterpiece with the NightCafe community!

Why do I keep getting errors?

At the release, we faced high demand and encountered rate limits, leading to some hiccups. The team worked hard to sort things out, but if anyone still faces issues, please direct them to our support. We appreciate your patience during the rush!

Prompt used: glowing backlit astronaut shape floating in a colorful cosmos and galaxies, a backlit astronaut floating in outer space by a giant vibrant colorful nebula, lots of bright neon baby blues, lilac purples, neon glowing yellows, and twinkling soft whites, glittering, c-cell, astronaut floating in outer space, concept art 8k resolution

Can we use it in Daily Challenges on the site?

Not at the moment, and it’s all about keeping things fair for everyone, especially for those who aren’t PRO members. This is why other premium features like LoRA’s aren’t allowed in Daily Challenges either. We want to make sure everyone has a level playing field!

We hope you enjoy this new addition to the NightCafe model lineup!
